Doosan / Develon

Doosan started in 1896 as a trading company under the name Park Seung Jik Store. In 1970 they started producing MAN engines and in 1976 they re-branded to Daewoo. During the same time they started manufacturing construction equipment. The brand Doosan, as we know it today came into existence in 2005. In the future you will see both Doosan and Develon as brand names on the machines as the new owner, Hyundai Infracore is looking to rebrand once again. With its major production locations in South Korea, China and the United States they produce a wide range of heavy machinery, such as excavators, articulated trucks and wheel loaders. They are specialized in machines for mining and quarries. One of their most successful machines has been the DX225LC, still part of their line-up. The DX225 is known to be extremely durable, fuel efficient and comfort and safety features.
